Description

Gestrocid is a combination antacid and antiflatulent used to relieve symptoms of hyperacidity, heartburn, acid indigestion, gastritis, and excess stomach gas. Aluminium hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide neutralize excess stomach acid, while simethicone helps break up gas bubbles to reduce bloating and abdominal discomfort.
 Potential Side Effects:
 • Constipation (more common with aluminium hydroxide) • Diarrhea (more common with magnesium hydroxide) • Nausea • Stomach cramps • Chalky taste • Rare allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling)
