Description

OMAPIN-20 contains omeprazole 20 mg, a proton pump inhibitor that reduces the production of stomach acid. It is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), gastric and duodenal ulcers, erosive esophagitis, and other acid-related disorders. It also helps prevent ulcers associated with long-term NSAID use and is used in combination therapy for Helicobacter pylori eradication.
 Potential Side Effects:
 • Headache • Nausea or vomiting • Abdominal pain • Diarrhea or constipation • Flatulence • Dizziness • Rare allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling) • Long-term use may increase the risk of vitamin B12 deficiency, low magnesium levels, and bone fractures.
