Description

Losartan is an antihypertensive medicine used for the treatment of high blood pressure, protection of kidney function in patients with diabetes and hypertension, and management of heart failure in selected patients. It works by blocking angiotensin II receptors, causing relaxation of blood vessels and lowering blood pressure.
 Potential Side Effects: Dizziness, Headache, Fatigue, Low blood pressure, Increased potassium level (hyperkalaemia), and kidney function changes; rarely, Allergic reactions or swelling (angioedema).
