Description

Bisacodyl is a stimulant laxative used for the short-term treatment of constipation and for bowel preparation before certain medical procedures. It works by stimulating intestinal movement and increasing water secretion into the bowel to help produce bowel evacuation.
 Potential Side Effects: Abdominal cramps, Diarrhoea, Nausea, Vomiting, Bloating, and abdominal discomfort; Prolonged or excessive use may cause electrolyte imbalance and dependence on laxatives.
