Description

Combination antibiotic suspension used to treat susceptible bacterial infections, including respiratory tract infections, ear, nose and throat infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and dental infections. Amoxicillin inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, while clavulanic acid protects amoxicillin from bacterial resistance enzymes. Potential Side Effects: Diarrhoea, Nausea, Vomiting, Abdominal discomfort, Indigestion, Skin rash, and allergic reactions; Rarely, liver enzyme elevation, hepatitis, or antibiotic-associated colitis.
