Description

Loperamide is an antidiarrheal medicine used for the symptomatic treatment of acute and chronic diarrhoea. It works by slowing intestinal movement, allowing more time for absorption of water and electrolytes, and helps reduce stool frequency.
 Potential Side Effects: Constipation, Abdominal cramps, Nausea, Vomiting, Dizziness, Dry mouth, and abdominal discomfort; rarely, Allergic reactions or severe constipation/intestinal blockage with excessive use.
