Description

Combination penicillin antibiotic used for treatment of susceptible bacterial infections, including respiratory tract, skin and soft tissue, ear, nose, throat, and other infections caused by susceptible organisms. Ampicillin provides broad antibacterial activity, while cloxacillin is resistant to penicillinase-producing staphylococci. Potential Side Effects: Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Abdominal discomfort, Skin rash, and allergic reactions; Rarely, severe hypersensitivity reactions or antibiotic-associated colitis.
